Nobu Hotel London Portman Square is pleased to present Johnny Morant at The White Box, in collaboration with Eclectic Gallery, a London-based contemporary fine art gallery dedicated to showcasing British and international artists.

Morant is a British contemporary figurative artist whose work is deeply inspired by the Old Masters, translated through a strikingly modern lens. His notable series include Allegories of the Past, which explores themes of sustainability and social awareness, and Reinterpretations of the Classics, which revisits traditional subjects through a contemporary perspective. His wider practice, including the Present and Future works, reflects humanity’s capacity to confront challenges and shape what lies ahead.

Morant describes his approach:
“Playing on the border between clarity and suggestion, my work prioritises the intuitive application of paint with the aim of capturing the viscosity of light and the insecurity of form.”

The exhibition is available to view from 3–15 February.
