THE MACALLAN REVEALS A NEW EDITION OF ITS COVETED HARMONY COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH STELLA AND MARY MCCARTNEY

The world of whisky and fashion collide as The Macallan, a renowned name in single malt Scotch whisky, partners with creative powerhouses Stella and Mary McCartney for the third edition of The Harmony Collection. This unique collaboration, inspired by their shared love for Scotland’s natural beauty, marks the McCartney sisters’ debut union in the world of spirits.

Stella and Mary McCartney’s deep emotional ties to Scotland are well-known, stemming from their childhood memories of the Scottish countryside and The Macallan Estate. It’s these cherished memories that served as the creative spark for The Macallan Harmony Collection Amber Meadow and Green Meadow, two exceptional limited-edition expressions.

These whiskies are a testament to the artistry of The Macallan Whisky Mastery Team, blending sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks inspired by Scotland’s natural grasslands. According to Steven Bremner, Whisky Maker at The Macallan, Amber Meadow offers “warm meadows and mature barley fields” with a “rich, citrus-scented finish. “Meanwhile, Green Meadow delivers a “sweet and fragrant experience.

The collaboration doesn’t stop at whisky; the McCartney sisters have also co-created TOGETHER:A Collection for The Macallan, featuring 11 exquisite lifestyle pieces. These items, designed by Stella and Mary and crafted by master artisans, include handmade glassware, ceramic flasks, and brass ice stamps, all reflecting the natural hues of The Macallan Estate.

Jaume Ferras, Global Creative Director at The Macallan, praised the partnership’s innovation and craftsmanship. He noted that the collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney is a celebration of “the highest quality of materials and incredible craftsmanship” and perfectly aligns with The Macallan’s 200-year-old tradition of respecting nature.

To celebrate this unique partnership, The Macallan is offering The Harmony Hideaway, a bespoke experience for whisky enthusiasts to immerse themselves in Scotland’s beauty and the new Harmony expressions.

TOGETHER: A Collection for The Macallan will be available as a limited set starting on October 11, 2023, with Amber Meadow and Green Meadow hitting shelves worldwide in October 2023 and December 2023,respectively.
